Hello!

I am Rangaprasad Sampath. You may call me Ranga.

Engineer by education. Technologist by training. I spent over a decade and a half deep in networking
technology — packets, protocols, switches, cloud infrastructure. From that world, and from a long-standing fascination with what AI can do when put in the right hands, was born You+AI.

You+AI is my platform for connecting the worlds of engineering and artificial intelligence —
through tools I build, articles I write, and conversations I have.

What I am working on now

I am building agentic AI tools for cloud network engineering.

Cloud networks are opaque by design. When something breaks, the failure is rarely where it
appears.

The tools I am building encode the investigation methodology of a senior network engineer into
autonomous AI agents — forming hypotheses, running diagnostics against live cloud infrastructure, and stopping for your explicit approval before any risky action. Every command is logged. Every decision is auditable.

What the agent removes is the overhead of remembering which layer to check next and the risk of
stopping too early. It does not replace the engineer — it requires your explicit approval before every risky action.

The marquee tool is the Network Ghost Agent — a
conversational CLI that autonomously investigates Azure network problems and produces forensic root-cause analysis reports.

The full toolkit is open source: [github.com/ranga-sampath/agentic-network-tools](https://github.com /ranga-sampath/agentic-network-tools)

Writings

I write about what I build and what I learn building it — the engineering decisions, the failures, and the principles behind the work.

The You+AI Podcast

Earlier work on this platform focused on Healthcare + AI. The You+AI Podcast brought together
healthcare professionals from across disciplines to explore where AI could drive better patient outcomes — and ranked among the Top 8 digital health podcasts worldwide in 2021.
